One of my new favorite things about Christmas time is going to the Columbus Zoo to see the Wildlights. Eli joins me in this love of the zoo, but he is more excited about the Polar Bears. He loves to carry our zoo passes around the house saying “Go to the Zoo. Polar Bear! Parakeets! and Penguins!” over and over again! We are a little disappointed, the Polar bears where laying around behind some rocks napping while we were there. But we got to see the Brown Bears up close! So here are some pics from our visits. I did not get pics of any animals....they are apparently not very active when it is cold!
Alex found a steel bear trap that he played in. I think it was it favorite thing
While Alex was playing in the bear trap, Eli was running around asking me to take his picture and then he would run to me to see the picture. What about the cool lights?
Maybe the lights are more for the parents then the kids?!
