Last Day of Preschool

I might be a little weird, but there was no sadness today!  I am very excited about my kid's last day of preschool.  It has been so fun watching him learn this year.  Not only book learning but socially and spiritually.  I think every day he has some spiritually question...sometimes the same questions every day for several weeks!  But hey, I guess I can not expect deep conversations with my 5 year old everyday!  And ohhh the silliness of a 5 year old is crazy.  And I have a feeling it will just get sillier for the next few several years!

I was an unorganized (as though I am not now, Ha!) mom at the beginning of the school year and did not take a first day of preschool picture, but here is one from his birthday trip to the zoo!  Who know what he is looking!  But he is still cute!

And here he is on his last day of preschool!  I told him to jump for joy.  He is on his way up in this picture and no he tends not to get a lot of air.  But once again....he is still cute!

I am so excited for the summer and all the fun things we get to do!  Trips to the zoo and playground! Playing outside with friends!  Weeks with grandparents!  Moving! It will be good to have both boys home all day with me again!

Fall Festivities

This boy love his animals

This one......

Well... he has his moments!

So I quickly took this pics before the moment was lost and he gave the bunny back.

But this one..  well could have sat there all afternoon lovin' on the bunny.

But pumpkin decorating was a different story.

He was in the zone

They both did a great job decorating their pumpkins.

It was great Fall afternoon spending time with my boys!

Family Pictures bring out the best of us!

I love taking family pictures

Capturing a family in that one moment of time

Getting to their places

Telling each other where to stand and how to stand

Some are listening and some are just having fun

There are those who do not want to be in that moment of time

And those who are treasuring that moment in time.

I love families!

Winter Wonderland

Well it is Winter time! I know it has been winter time for quite some time, but the difference now is not only does it feel like winter, it looks like winter! And when we had our first big snow fall that we were home for, we had to take the boys out to have some fun. I am not sure how much fun that had at least at first. Not quite sure about the fall snow!

Neither one wanted to walk in the snow. So they waited and watched from the garage while daddy cleared the driveway.

You can see him in the back ground using our landlord’s beast of a snow blower. My husband was enjoying every minute of it!

They slowly ventured out, only exploring the areas that were clear.

Then Alex got a hold of the snow shovel. He was taking snow from one side of the driveway.......

to the other.

Now he to was enjoying every minute of it!

They crazy part is that since we took these pics, it has snowed two more times and snow is still in the forecast! I love to look out my front window and see the ground covered in beautiful white snow.
